Board Members
The District is managed by three (3) Directors appointed by the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas by ORC6101. The Board exercises sole responsibility for the inspection and maintenance of the levees and dikes and other flood control devices. In application of its duties, the Board is also responsible to establish and implement the annual budget of assessments and expenses, approved by the Court and applied to property taxes by the Lucas County Auditor.
The Board Members are each appointed to 5-year, staggered terms. The current Board Members are:

Board of Appraisers
The Reno Beach Howard Farms Conservancy District (RBHFCD) relies on a three-member Board of Appraisers to evaluate property assessments and acquisitions, per ORC6101.27. The Appraisers ensure that all assessments accurately reflect the benefits property owners receive from the District’s initiatives, including flood control and water management detailed in the RBHFCD Official Plan. By advising the Board of Directors and Conservancy Court in these critical processes, the Appraisers play a vital role in maintaining equity, protecting property rights, and guiding the successful implementation of RBHFCD projects.
